MANAGING DIRECTOR

Marc has extensive global experience in healthcare systems, having worked at a senior level in healthcare in Asia-Pacific and Europe for 30 years.

Most recently, Marc was Chief Strategy Officer for Medibank Private Limited (ASX:MPL), the largest private health insurer in Australia and a large scale provider of healthcare services. He was pivotal in Medibank's transformation to a broader healthcare business having been involved in the growth and innovation of its national telehealth, chronic care, primary care, ambulatory surgery centre, clinical homecare, and psychiatric hospital business lines. He was also deeply involved in Medibank's value-based contracting strategy as well as its significant uplift in payment integrity.

Prior to his role at Medibank, Marc was Executive General Manager, Strategy & Corporate Development, McKesson Asia Pacific (NYSE: MCK), before which he worked in corporate advisory in Asia Pacific, advising multinational corporations and private equity investors on M&A transactions and business growth in the Asia Pacific region. Services ranged from strategy formulation and execution to M&A advice and post merger integration. 

Particular areas of focus include: 

• Transformation of traditional primary care (general practice), which is largely reactive/passive, to an omni-channel care delivery model that uses digital and data to deliver a predictive, proactive, and preventative model of care
• Expansion of primary care to encompass omnichannel specialised care models (chronic care management, dermatology, women's health, men's health, medical weight management)
• Transformation of tertiary care from an acute inpatient focus to an ambulatory surgery model supported by clinical homecare services to reduce length of stay and improve efficiency, whilst concurrently generating enhanced outcomes and experience for patients
• Transformation of the psychiatric care model, which is predominantly inpatient focused, to an integrated model combining digital, primary, secondary, and clinical homecare models with a reduced reliance on inpatient care to facilitate superior patients outcomes and affordability
• Supporting pharmaceutical companies to increase their breadth and relevance via innovative partnerships with payors, providers, and patients.
